Roof deck designed by Charles Chan – To capture the breath taking panoramic view of San Francisco’s skyline, Architect Charles Chan designed a roof deck system for this Penthouse unit using an Ipe Wood interlocking tile system and deck support system from Bison Innovative Products. The deck support system sits on top of the existing waterproofing membrane at the roof without creating any penetrations or roof drain system, making this a cost effective design intervention for the exterior area around the penthouse unit and in turn, increased the unit’s usable area.
